YES-EXECOM meeting and 4th European Business Summit in Brussel, Belgium, 16 - 18 Mar 2006 |

The YES-EXECOM meeting brought together 60 young European entrepreneurs from 10 countries for meetings in conjunction to the 4th European Business Summit, the biggest meeting place between leading business people and European policy makers. The YES group was among the more than 2.000 participants who could listen to the 100 keynote speakers and visit the 50 exhibitors present at the EBS. YES President Murat Sarayli delivered the YES perspective on "Sustainable Competition Strategy For The European Union" during the EBS session on "European Industrial Base: dead loss or new start", where he participated as a speaker together with Gert Jan Koopman, Director for Industrial Policy and Economic Reforms at the DG Enterprise, Gerard Kleisterlee, CEO of Royal Philips Electronics, and Roger Sugden, Professor of Birmingham University. YES for Europe organised a round table as parallel session within the EBS on the theme "Innovation for Growth", where the YES members were involved in a discussion with innovative entrepreneurs and politicians dealing with innovation. The YES event offered several networking opportunities including a welcome address by Wolfgang Schüssel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Austria.
